i uninstalled mcafee …then i restarted my computer..after that i insatlled avg free antivirus but it cdnt..
i used their removal tool mcpr.exe…during installation of avg…it said you already have another anti virus…and it cause problmz if i dont uninstall it…but i really uninstalled mcafee completely..i even tried to delete registry related to mcafee..but it said unable to do it..plz help
I believe I answered your question before. But…
Under XP:
—Click Start, go to All Programs, go to Accessories, go to System Tools, and then click System Restore
—On the Welcome screen, click “Restore my computer to an e calendar that shows the point you’d like to restore to, then click Next.
—On the Confirm Restore Point Selection page, verify that the correct restore point is chosen, and then close any open programs.
—Click Next if you are ready to proceed or click Back to change the restore point.
—The computer will shut down automatically and reboot. On reboot, you’ll see the Restoration Complete page, and then click OK.

Under vista:
Go to Start
Select All Programs
Select Accessories
Select System Tools
Select System Restore
Click the Next button
Select the option titled: Choose a different restore point
Click the Next button
Select a date and time that you would like to restore your computer to.
Click the Next button to begin the restoration process.
In the confirmation message, select Yes.
Once the System Restore process completes, your system will automatically restart.
